Live visit sessions

Workers start a timed visit when they arrive alone, extend if the job runs long, and end when they leave. Managers can open the live board anytime - but they do not need to sit on it for safety to work.

Alerts reach you - even off the dashboard

Missed check-outs and SOS do not wait for someone to refresh a screen. Managers get email and browser (web) push with enough context to act - including location links when coordinates were captured.

What this means for you

  • Email and web push fire whether the dashboard is open or closed.
  • Alert emails include location label and a maps link when lat/lng exist.
  • One acknowledge clears the session; optional "Confirmed by phone call" on the record.
  • False alarm path for accidental SOS or noisy misses.

One-tap SOS

When a worker needs help now, one tap raises SOS. Managers are notified immediately with location captured at that moment - not continuous GPS tracking.

What this means for you

  • SOS reaches managers by email and browser push - no need to be on the board.
  • Location captured at session start and at SOS - not tracked all day.
  • Maps link in the alert email when coordinates are available.
  • Urgent workers also surface at the top of Overview when you open it.

Automatic escalation

If nobody responds, your backup is notified automatically. Set the chain once so you are never the only person who'd know - even if primary managers are in a meeting or offline.

  • Background escalation advances if an alert stays unacknowledged.
  • Backup gets email and web push at the next chain level.
  • Coverage gap banner when no level-2 backup is configured.

Add field staff by name and email. Set team shift windows so the board shows who is on shift vs off shift. Admins and managers get clear roles.
